Blog
When logged in, the blog can be found in the PAGES section, in the NON LINKED area near the bottom and is called DJ's Blog. When you click on DJ's Blog in the PAGES section, you will enter the blog editor. This is where you can add, edit, publish and delete posts. More help can be found here.
Adding a new post
To start a new blog post, click the + near the top left corner of the blog editor.
You will start in the CONTENT tab where you can put the title of the posts as well a the full post body. This can include images, links, video and is styled exactly like a regular page block.
After you have the title and body entered, click OPTIONS at the top to go to the options tab.
Add an image in the THUMBNAIL IMAGE area. Thumbnails are turned OFF for the main Blog page for now because they don't display in a visually pleasing way. We can change this later so its good to add an image now.
Under the Thumbnail Image area is the EXCERPT area. This is where you can put the first paragraph or first few lines of the body (from the CONTENT tab) so that there is more than just the title on the main blog page.
To the left of the Thumbnail Image area is the POST URL area. In most cases, the URL will be the title of the post, but you can change it to be something else (maybe something shorter) here is you want. Its not necessary.
After all this is entered, you can either click SAVE to save the post but not publish it, or click SAVE & PUBLISH to put it live on the blog.
Changing the Date and Time
New blog posts will automatically be stamped with the time and date you posted it but if you want to back date it, so that it looks like it was posted in the past, you can click the post in the list on the left and then click EDIT.
Under PUBLISHED near the bottom right, click the PUBLISHED ON date and change it to be the date and time you want it listed by.
Don't forget to SAVE.
